  2. Oh Ess, those words and that face, just perfect. I don’t think I could find the most beautiful man in the world attractive if they weren’t kind hearted! We’re lucky that Alex has the caring heart, family spirit and warm soul wrapped in something gorgeous!

    • ACA Fi!!! I think that’s why I spent the first season thinking “ok, he’s supposed to be the ‘hot’ one…” but didn’t really *get it* until I watched and read his interviews.

  5. Thank you, that quote perfectly describes Alex and the journey he has been through with his life so far. I always say to people that I LOVE his appearance but that wouldn’t be enough to make me love him as much as I do without admiring him also as a man.

  8. ESS, your quote gives me chills, cuz I think it’s absolutely true for any of us. There is a depth of soul, and intelligence, that comes from life’s harder knocks, and them who experience it CAN become better human beings. OR they can become embittered and selfish, feeling the world owes them forever for their past suffering. Alex chose to learn from his hardships, to keep them in perspective, and to embrace the world. And he made his own way. He’s still making his own way. I think that’s why he has such passionate fans. There’s a glut of pretty in Hollywood, natural and man-made. Kinda hard to get too worked up over just the pretty. It’s his depth of soul that makes him so beautiful. I think it’s a big part of his talent too. He can act it, because he has lived it. I’m so excited to see him do it again!

    Damn! We really gotta wait 3 more weeks?

    • ” I think it’s absolutely true for any of us” – so true GNP!! One thing I’ve learned is that many of our dear friends here, including you and I, have had some struggles. Some are still struggling and will continue to do so. However, we choose to put on our happy face and have a few moments of fun here and there. Those few moments can make the rest of the day worth struggling through. There’s some awesome peeps on this blog….so much to learn and enjoy from each one of us!

The man that always pursuing for his dreams but never forgetting where is came from, his roots and family values. A man that builds a route day by day and enjoys every minute of the incredible journey of life. The strength to stand up after defeat and loss, the kindness and compassion for the others, the appreciation of the simple gestures. Yes, his heart and soul are even more beautiful that his gorgeous looks. Thank you for this special post today!

  10. Thanks ESS for this beautiful pic of Alex…the man is so handsome and the feels behind those eyes. Also the very true words. I can say this has happened in my life. The feeling to come out the other side is an enormous relief.
    This is true of Alex and I think we all can see how he is doing and may it continue. I too like this ‘Alex can “act it because he’s lived it”…

Hugs!!……I think real beauty irradiates from inside, from your soul and as a result it makes glow the person and it is “something” invisible that people feel it more than see it…..I guess many of us have experienced that with many type of men, someones are very handsome but you just don’t like them and others are less, less handsome and result to be maybe your best male friends or men you just couldn’t resist to feel in someway attrack to…..I think Alex is a blessed man, God gave him a big heart, a beautiful, kind soul, intelligence ( I will never be tired of saying), and a interesting but not always easy life through it he learns with all the ups and downs to be a better human being and we love him beause he irradiates all that and he is humble to admit his problems, his mistakes, his weaknesses, he has failed but he has stand up again with his face up, knowing he has to keep going ……this photo shows his new deprive sleep daddy period but also the love for his new son Lion……..and raving mad!!!! He has a gorgeous face and hot, sexy body! Lol!

  14. That quote fits just perfectly for Alex who is beautiful inside and on the outside. Even though we all very much enjoy his outside beauty, I think we all love him for the beauty inside – Well, I do, anyway but I’m quite sure that I’m not alone!
    Great photo of him, too – so many emotions reflected in those eyes.

  15. After facing battles of my own and watching others go through tough things I am so truly grateful that there are so many good people in this world. No matter where I have gone across the world I have always found those beautiful people that are there for one another. Thanks Ess for one of my favorite quotes and thanks to everyone on this site who offers happy feeling and gives me so many moments of laughter and a sense of belonging throughout my day. You guys rock!!!!!! (So does Alex!!!)

    I agree that the Loving compassionate life force within him— his soul if you wil—lights up his face way beyond beauty to a strong yet sweet manly radience that is hard to put into words Think of the almost otherworldly gorgeousness of MICK changed to the human beauty of Alex and that I think is the best way I can describe it

  18. Great comment and great face, so perfect together! And while I thought he was hot from the start, it was the “real man” and how gracious he comes off, that really put him ahead of all others and made me a fan for life.
